In early June, Dustin, Ellie, and I went to North Carolina's outer banks for one of the best family reunions ever. I got to go on a dolphin tour, go parasailing, jetskiing, and bird watching, accidentally drive into a wildfire, play in the waves at the beach, and experience general awesomeness.
But best of all was seeing (and more importantly, introducing Eliana to) my family! She and Walter (who is only 11 days her senior) experienced some serious cousin love.
Vacation is now over and none of us are likely to see anyone from my family for at least another 6 months, but at least for a week, I was sitting on top of the world :)
