Eliana has been up to quite a lot lately. With four different day care arrangements every week (two parents and two babysitters) plus parents who are still trying to live normal lives, she ends up visiting lots of new places and meeting lots of new people.
She is also learning lots of new things. She is very good at sitting, eating, rolling, eating, and grabbing things. Here is a video of her not being good at eating:
She does NOT like peas. Everything else is good, though.
Ellie spends Saturdays at home with me. I have been teaching her a bit about sports. Lately, it's been the Women's World Cup (finding her some female athletic role models). A few weeks ago, we got to watch the Cardinals play the Cubs. Here she is with her rally cap (which worked, by the way - Albert hit a walk-off):
You can see how much she likes putting things in her mouth.
Eliana is also very musical. In the past, she mostly enjoyed dancing to Elvis, but now she is beginning to create her own music. Here she is playing the piano. I hear a lot of contemporary Russian influence.
She can also sing while playing the piano. Kind of like Sarah McLachlan, but less sappy.
Yes, you should be impressed by her many talents. But the thing she is best at, most of all, is being CUTE (her mom's not too bad, either)!
Yay! How exciting to see some new posts. Hi Eliana! You're beautiful. We miss you, especially Walter. He doesn't talk about it much but when he's quiet and thoughtful I know that he's thinking about you. A mother can always tell. And you are definitely motivating your Auntie Em to send you more cute clothes. That is way too fun, you cute little thing! Keep up the good work! xoxo
ReplyDeleteCute! This made me smile. Laura, I miss you and I'm sad I haven't met your little girly yet! We seriously need to do something about that. Any plans on going home soon?
ReplyDeleteMissed this one - did not look - thanks Dustin.
